Christian County Cares Director Urges New View Of Community

Christian County Cares 2015 is preparing for several events in the coming months, but Director Yasamin Ausenbaugh says it is time for a change in attitude to go with the improvements in the community. Ausenbaugh, who spoke to the Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club recently, says the easiest way to view this community is as if it were your child.

She adds that it is really about changing your mind set because the caring is already there.

Christian County Cares is hosting the Diversity Conference October 27th at the Christian County Middle School Performing Arts Center from 1 to 5pm.  Ausenbaugh says they are also already in the planning stages of the Festival of Trees, which will be held this year at the A.W. Watts Senior Citizen Center on the first two Friday, Saturday and Sundays of December.
