Two Injured In Accidents Involving Pedestrians



Hopkinsville Police say two people were taken to the hospital Saturday after they were struck by cars. Officer Brian Smith says the first pedestrian involved accident occured around 10:30 at the intersection of 1st and Main Street. The bicycle was driven by 38 year old William Paul who was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for his injuries. 
Smith says the other accident occured Saturday afternoon near the intersection of Crenshaw Road and Fort Campbell Boulevard.  Kentucky State Police were reportedly stopping a vehicle when the vehicle struck a person that was in the roadway.  At this time no other information is known about the victim of that accident.
