Christian Co League Of Women Voter Forums Set



The Christian County League of Women Voters will host twelve candidate debates at Bradford Square Mall to help voters prepare for the November 6th General Election.

According to the League Monday 8th District State Representative John Tilley and republican challenger Max Sturdivant will square of in a 7:15 debate, with Hopkinsville City Council candidates in Ward one and five featured in 6:00 and 6:45 forums.
Tuesday October 9th 3rd District State Senator Joey Pendleton and republican challenger Whitney Westerfield to square off in the 7:00 debate, with Hopkinsville City Council candidates in Ward six and seven to be featured at 6:00 and 6:30.
Thursday October 11th 15th District State Representative Brent Yonts and republican challenger Dr. Marshall Prunty will face-off in the 7:00 debate. Christian County School Board candidates in districts one and two will be featured in debates at 6:00 and 6:30.
The League of Women Voters will finalize their election forums Monday October 22nd, with Hopkinsville Council Ward 10 and 12 candidates featured at 6 and 6:30 and a possible 7:00 debate between First District Congressman Ed Whitfield and democratic challenger Charles Hatchett.
