One Transported Following Monday Accident



One person was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a two vehicle accident Monday afternoon. According to Hopkinsville Police, 39-year old Lashawnda Redd, of Hopkinsville, was northbound on Pembroke Road, when she had to make an abrupt stop in traffic, near the Pennyrile Parkway interchange.

53-year old Deborah Greenman, of Hopkinsville, was also northbound, and was not able to stop in time with the rainy road conditions, and rear ended Redd's vehicle. Redd was transported to Jennie Stuart following the accident for treatment of back pain. The collision occurred around 3:15 Monday afternoon.
