Teams participating in the 2012 Walk to End Alzheimers will exceed this year's goal by more than $10,000. Alzheimers Association Vice President Deana Esslinger says organizers are extremely pleased with this year's walk that included more than 600 people Saturday morning at the Christian County Justice Center in Hopkinsville.

Esslinger says they were also pleased with the number of teams that participated.

Esslinger adds the top fundraiser turned in more than three thousand dollars.
