Oak Grove Murder Suspect To Be Arraigned

The suspect accused in the Sunday morning murder of a Hopkinsville man at the Mapco Express Convenience Store in Oak Grove is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Christian District Court.

22-year old Hersey Mitchell is charged with Murder in connection with the death of 20-year old Shannon Fairley. Police say Mitchell shot Fairley and Desmond Leavell in the parking lot of the store, which is located in front of the Oak Grove Walmart, just after 3:00am Sunday.

Mitchell is currently lodged in the Christian County Jail on one million dollars bond.
