For the fourth year in a row, Hopkinsville Community College has been named as a Military Friendly School, by Victory Media. The 2013 Military Friendly Schools list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the country that are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans, and spouses as students, and to ensure their educational success.
Hopkinsville Community College has a campus housed at Fort Campbell. More than one in three HCC students are active duty, veteran, or a military family member. In an effort to provide another aspect of service to the military student, HCC has launched a Veterans Program with resource facilities at both the Hopkinsville and Fort Campbell campuses.
HCC President Jim Selbe has outlined the college’s 50-year vision, with the military as one of the college’s main areas of focus.
