Carol Barta Retiring From Pennyroyal Arts Council

The Board of Directors of the Pennyroyal Arts Council announced Thursday morning that D. Carol Barta, Executive Director of the Council is retiring. Barta's retirement will begin at the end of 2012 after eight years of serving in the leadership role.

Barta came to Hopkinsville from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2002, when her husband, Anthony Barta, took the pastoral position at First Presbyterian Church in Hopkinsville.
