Command Sergeant Majors Luncheon

101st Airborne Division Command Sergeant Major Alonso Smith says it is the welcoming community that drawls soldiers to Fort Campbell and this week is just one example of that spirit. CSM Smith, who as introduced by 101st Commander Major General James McConville, says the support of local families and organizations is what makes soldiers choose Fort Campbell as a duty station.

Rotarians and Kiwanians joined Fort Campbell Commanders and Command Sergeant Majors Tuesday for an annual Christian County Salutes Fort Campbell week luncheon at the James E Bruce Convention Center. Entertainment for the event was Hank Bonecutter, former owner of WJZM in Clarksville.  Pictures from the event can be seen at wkdzradio.com and oldies1480.com.

WKDZ and WHVO are proud sponsors of Christian County Salutes Fort Campbell week and will be broadcasting live from the Freedom Friday Chili Cookoff in downtown Hopkinsville this Friday.
