Officials with the Christian County Public Schools have announced that two vacancies in the system have been filled, with those positions being the Director of Pupil Personnel and the Director of Personnel.

According to a news release, Melanie Barrett has been selected as the Director of Pupil Personnel. Barrett will fill the vacancy of Kathy Hancock, who now serves as the district’s Chief of Operations Officer. Barrett has worked in public education for 17 years. Most recently, she worked as an Assistant Principal at Christian County High School. 

Vicki Myers has been named as the new Director of Personnel. Myers will fill the vacancy of Laura Morris, who now serves as the district’s Chief of Administrative Officer. Myers has worked in public education for over 20 years. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Superintendent for Todd County Public Schools.
