Former Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Richie Farmer says he wants his child support payments that he's required to pay for his children to be reduced because of the loss of his elected position and other issues.

Reports say Farmer also claims he's scheduled for surgery this month and will be incapacitated for at least two months. Farmer's lawyer previously stated Farmer hasn't been employed since his term expired on January 1st.
