The Princeton Police officer and Caldwell County Animal Control officer indicted  on charges of Abuse of Public Trust and Tampering with Public Records made her first appearance Tuesday in Caldwell Circuit Court. Abigail Tucker entered not guilty pleas to the charges and the case was then continued until October 2nd for a pre-trial conference.

Tucker is charged with improper accounting of donations, failure to make proper dispositions, and accounting of property. Tucker is also accused of submitting false pay vouchers. All of the charges stem from incidents that allegedly occurred between 2007 and 2010, while Tucker was on the job as Animal Control Officer.
