The granddaughter of a local resident is headed to London this summer to support the US Mens Basketball Team in the Olympics.
Chip Hutchinson with the Princeton Times Leader says the Former Director of the UK Research and Education Center in Princeton, Lloyd Murdock's granddaughter Megan is going to London to participate in the Olympic Games.
Megan and her family are from Walton in northeast Kentucky and she and her mother Shawn are also notable for being the first ever mother and daughter that have both been cheerleaders at the University of Kentucky.
