US 68 Paving Planned In Marshall County

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic for asphalt paving along US 68 in Marshall County starting on Tuesday, July 17, 2012.

Paving along US 68 will run from the stop light at US 641 at mile point  10.098 in Draffenville extending eastward to Moors Camp Road at mile pint 13.438, a distance of 3.34 miles.

Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers during daylight hours.  Appropriate caution is required.  Work at this site is expected to take 3 to 4 days to complete, weather permitting.

Jim Smith Contracting of Grand Rivers is the prime contractor on this $421,318 highway improvement project.
