Clarksville Police say a 42 year-old man died Sunday afternoon following a motorcycle wreck at the intersection of McGraw Street and Swift Drive.
Spokesman Jim Knoll identified the victim as Joseph Allen Weyand. He says Weyand was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Knoll says the accident occurred around 1:40 when the driver was headed north on Swift Road, attempted to negotiate a curve, lost control and ran off the right side of the road. The motorcycle ran into a yard and hit a cement culvert, with the driver and motorcycle becoming airborne.
