A Cadiz woman and a Hopkinsville man were arrested in connection to a Friday assault. Hopkinsville Police say 28-year old Shara Bumphus and 30-year old Marshal Turner allegedly entered the residence of 31-year old Marnica Mack, at 128 Boyd Street, around 10am, and assaulted her.
Mack and her boyfriend, 40-year old Evens Jackson, were able to give police a description of the suspects. Police then located Bumphus and Turner a short time later at Discount Liquors, on Virginia Street. They were arrested on charges of 2nd degree burglary. Bumphus was also charged on marijuana related charges and driving on a suspended license.
