One person was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center following a single vehicle accident Friday afternoon. According to information from the Christian County Sheriff's Department, 29-year old Charles Daniel, of Butler Road, was attempting to turn onto Britmart Road, from US 68, when he exited the roadway and overturned.

Daniel was reportedly ejected, with the vehicle pinning him underneath. He was flown from the scene to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Law enforcement officials say speed may have been a factor in the accident, which occurred around 4:50pm Friday.
