Princeton Police Officer Indicted

A Princeton Police officer, who also serves as Caldwell County Animal Control officer, has been indicted by the Caldwell County Grand Jury. The grand jury returned the indictments Friday morning against Abigail Tucker on charges of Abuse of Public Trust and Tampering with Public Records.

Commonwealth's Attorney G.L. Ovey says the indictments are related to Tucker's job running the Caldwell County Animal Shelter, during the time from 2007 to 2010. The charges allegedly involve improper accounting of donations, failure to make proper dispositions, and accounting of property. As for the Tampering with Public Records, have to deal with the alleged submission of false pay vouchers. Tucker will now face the charges in Caldwell Circuit Court.
