A Pembroke man was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following an accident Monday afternoon in the parking lot of the S & J Cafe, near Pembroke. According to the Christian County Sheriff's Department, 72- year old Dorris Murphy was pulling into the parking lot of the diner and apparently thought he had hit another vehicle.
When Murphy stepped out to check, his vehicle was still in gear, and rolled over his leg, knocking him to the ground. Murphy was transported for treatment of leg injuries, as well as some scrapes and bruises. The accident occurred around 12:30 Monday afternoon.
