Hoppers Game Postponed After Death Of Madisonville Player

The Hoptown Hoppers game against Madisonville was postponed Saturday night after a Pirates player died sometime late Friday night or early Saturday. 20-year old Reid Rizzo, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was found around 11am Saturday morning by a teammate, who was staying with the same host family in Madisonville.

At this point, Madisonville Police believe the death to have been due to natural causes. Rizzo had just finished his sophomore year at Lake Erie College, in Cleveland. The Pirates had won their season opener Friday night in Madisonville. Rizzo had not played in that contest.
