Fatal Motorcycle Accident In Clarksville

Clarksville Police say the man's name is FRANKLIN EVAN WADSWORTH. He is 30 years old and lived CLARKSVILLE. They say they have no further information to release.

Police in Clarksville are trying to determine the cause of a motorcycle crash that claimed the life of a 30-year old man. The victim was found barely breathing by a passerby, laying in the middle of the roadway, in the 1700 block of Autumnwood Boulevard, around 3 am, Saturday morning. The man was transported to Gateway Medical Center and died around 4 am from his injuries.
Police say since there were no witnesses to the crash, the time and cause of the crash are still being determined. They add that it appears as though the motorcyclist was traveling west on Hazelwood Road, left the roadway off the right side, and for an unknown reason, drove through a yard, was unseated from the motorcycle onto Autumnwood Boulevard.
Clarksville Police say the motorcyclist has been identified, but the name has not been released until notification of the family.
