From the News Edge: Two people were initially transported following an accident around 7:15pm Monday on Rocky Ridge Road. A third person in the vehicle was located around 9:40pm laying in a nearby cornfield. Jan Drive Fire

A residence at 1729 Jan Drive in Hopkinsville was extensively damaged by fire. A woman and child who were at home when the fire broke out were able to safely escape the fire. Hopkinsville Deputy Fire Chief Eric Bleidt said windy conditions made fighting the fire more difficult.
