At least four fire departments responded to the scene of a garage fire Thursday afternoon, just behind the residence at 3350 Happy Hollow Road in Christian County. The structure was destroyed and, at one point, the fire had spread to grassy areas surrounding the structure. Firefighters from the Square Deal, Westside, Herndon, and Highland Volunteer Fire Departments were involved in the firefighting effort.
