For the second time, suspended Murray State basketball player Zay Jackson has accepted a plea deal in case against him on charges of Assault and Wanton Endangerment. Appearing in court Monday, Jackson agreed to a deal that will see him serve 60 days in jail, with 11 days credit for time already served.
Additionally Jackson will be placed on three years of supervised probation. Jackson had been charged with 2nd Degree Assault and 1st Degree Wanton endangerment in connection with an incident back on September 10th in the parking lot of the Walmart, in Murray. Jackson was the apparent victim of a reported armed robbery in Hopkinsville back on January 17.
