The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory in effect from midnight Saturday to 6:00 Sunday evening for some western Kentucky counties, including Caldwell, Christian, and Todd.
Meteorologists indicate south to southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected overnight Saturday eventually becoming westerly with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
The impact from the gusty winds could blow around loose an unsecured objects. In addition, the winds could blow down tree limbs and a few power outages could occur.
A wind advisory is issued when sustained winds are expected to reach 30 mph or greater for longer than one hour…or wind gusts are expected to reach 40 mph for any duration.
