Westerfield Files His First Bill In Kentucky Senate

Third District State Senator Whitney Westerfield is hitting the ground running in the Kentucky General Assembly, with his first bill introduced Friday. Westerfield told the News Edge the DNA On Arrest Bill will be a step in the right direction.

Westerfield says the bill is receiving bipartisan support and a thumbs up from law enforcement.

Westerfield says his committee met Thursday with the House Judiciary Committee that is being chaired by 8th District State Representative John Tilley. He says they are anticipating a good working relationship that will not only benefit their districts, but all of Kentucky.
