The WKDZ Country Showdown is coming up later this month. WKDZ Program Director Bill Booth tells the News Edge that anyone in our area with a singing talent is urged to apply to the showdown.
Deadline for artists to apply has been extended to this Sunday night at midnight. Booth says it’s easy to apply.
There will be only one cost for artists.
Booth adds that the showdown is different than most singing competitions.
Booth invites everyone to come out to the showdown.
The WKDZ Country Showdown will take place at the Western Kentucky State Fair on Friday, June 29th. Doors will open to the Convention Center around 6:00 pm, the showdown will start at 7:00.
