The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Flood Warning for Christian and Trigg counties until 5:26pm Thursday. They say flooding is occuring on South Fork Little River in Hopkinsville.
Heavy rain overnight is causing some flooding issues in Elkton and Guthrie, as well as Trigg County. Water over the road has closed Barefield Road, Bush Road at the 139 intersection, Adams Mill Road at Ben Adams Bridge and Glenwood Mill Road at the bridge.

In the last 24 hours, Trigg County has received 2.91 inches of rain, while Todd County has received 2.37 inches, Christian County has received 2.35 inches and Caldwell County is reporting 2.51 inches of rainfall. Motorists need to use caution when driving around the region today and be mindful of ponding water on roadways, along with water over the road.
