Trigg County Resident Appointed To Commission



A Trigg County resident is among those appointed by Governor Steve Beshear to serve on the Kentucky African-American Heritage Commission. Betty Baker-Wharton, of Cadiz, who is a microbiologist at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, was selected to represents the public at large for a term that will expire on February 1, 2018. Also appointed to the Commission were Gerald Smith, of Lexington, Jerry Cowherd, of Greensburg, J.H. Atkins, of Danville, and Angela Nance, of Lebanon.
