TRIGG COUNTY’S BIGGEST LOSER IS COMING BACK FOR 2010!

BROUGHT TO YOU BY WKDZ/WHVO, TRIGG COUNTY HOSPITAL, HANCOCK’S NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET AND CURVES OF CADIZ

The contest will officially being with the weigh-in on Monday February 1 at Trigg County Hospital conference room. It’s a 12 week program. Official final weigh-in scheduled for Monday April 26.   Click here for membership form.

Here’s the deal. You get your own team together. Teams can be 3-6 members. Everything is based on % of weight loss….Get your team together—made up of friends, co-workers, family?) choose a captain, name your team! Team captain will sign up the team and members. Sign up forms will be at wkdzradio.com and oldies1480.com, also they will be available from Audra at Trigg County Hospital (she can fax or e-mail them to you).

Each team member will pay $10.00 to participate. You are required to be at the initial weigh in and the official last weigh-in (no exceptions) and you must weigh weekly. Your team captain will be responsible for making sure you weight and keep a log). Now here’s where you can have some fun with your team…(suggestions: If you gain you pay and whoever looses the most on your team for the week—they get the pot).

Do you realize if we have 50 people that pay $10.00 each you could win $500? If you’re the biggest loser, the more people, the more money—YOU GET IT!!

Well have healthy recipes, snacks and tips on wkdzradio.com and oldies1480.com and we’ll use facebook to keep up with your progress….Hancock’s will have healthy reminders and ideas at the store.

Curves of Cadiz is offering a three month trial membership for just $99 for biggest loser contestants (Feb/.Mar/April). You must call and ask for the biggest loser special and set up your appointment. They will also offer some weight management classes (dates to come)

Trigg County Hospital Dietician Lori Conger has already set up some classes to help you. Feb 17, March 17 and April 21 (1-2 in the hospital conference room) and on March 24th there will be a grocery tour at Hancock’s 1-2pm to explain how to read labels!
