Trial Postponed For Couple Accused of Killing Nephew

The trial of an Oak Grove couple charged with killing their infant nephew has been delayed after a key witness for the prosecution was unavailable for the trial next week. Commonwealth's Attorney Lynn Pryor explained to Circuit Judge John Atkins why a new trial date is needed for Chris and Joni Leutwyler. Pryor says a lab tech with important information could not make the trial.

Atkins allowed the trial to be postponed until April 28th with a deadline for subpoenas or arrangements for depositions by December 18th.

The Leutwylers are accused of killing their nephew Jack Stark while they were babysitting him at their Oak Grove home in April of 2012.
