It appeared to be a beautiful day, but the National Weather Service and Emergency Management continued to warn us that this is not normal weather for February.  By 6pm, weather warnings and alerts were firing, giving listeners a "heads up" that trouble was on the way.  After school activities were cancelled, and then it hit.  Storms including high winds, lightning, hail, and heavy rains worked their way across the listening area leaving severe wind damage.  Tornados and straight line winds caused roads to be closed in Christian County and claimed the life of at least 3 in Muhlenberg County.  WKDZ/WHVO news was there.  Click here for photos and listen for the latest information.
