It's time for the 2014 Summer Farm Tour in Trigg County on Thursday, July 24. Join us starting at 8 at the Scott Jolly Farm on Highway 68, with the program beginning at 8:30. This will be our first stop where we will learn about the Scott Jolly Farm beef cattle operation. Our 2nd stop will be at Cundiff Farms where we'll take a look at their irrigation operation there and Robert Davis with AgStrong will talk about growing canola in Western Kentucky and the new canola processing facility in Todd County. Our 3rd and final stop will be Black Patch Farms in Cerulean with Steve and Denise Brashears and learn about their family farm operation that includes row crops and tobacco. We'll also hear from Ben Westerfield of Hopkinsville Elevator about the grain markets. Lunch from Rutland BBQ at the end of the tour with entertainment from WKDZ Radio Country Showdown winner, Luk Nichols.
