Several File Including Man For Trigg Judge Executive

It is the last full week before the filing deadline and many are taking advantage. In Trigg County, Ricky Dale Calhoun filed to run as a Democrat for Judge Executive. He will campaign in a General Election against the incumbent, Hollis Alexander.

Also, filing was Trigg County Attorney Randall Braboy, who is seeking a third term in office. Incumbent, 6th District Constable Dennis Whitten filed his paperwork Monday seeking another term in office. Erin Eagleson turned in papers to seek the 2nd District Constable seat.

Voters in Trigg County's 4th Magisterial District will have a decision to make. Dale Henderson filed to run for the seat as a Democrat against incumbent Jeff Broadbent. The two will appear on the May Primary Ballot.

Meanwhile, in Christian County, Chuck Inman officially filed for Sheriff. He kicked off his campaign Friday night. Hopkinsville City Council Ward 9 Incumbent, Patricia Waddell-Bell filed for another term in office.

8th District State Representative Walker Thomas filed seeking a second term in office. Thomas will again compete with Democratic challenger Jeff Taylor for the seat. It will be the third time the two face off on the ballot.

In Todd and Logan counties, Neil Kerr filed to run for Commonwealth's Attorney. Kerr currently serves as the Russellville City Attorney. He will run as a Republican and have a May Primary against Joe Hendricks, Jr. The winner will appear on the November ballot with Democrat Justin David Crocker.
