Third District State Senator Joey Pendleton is suspending his re-election campaign advertising in response to the death of his opponent Whitney Westerfield’s father.
Senator Pendleton said he was saddened to hear of the loss of his friend Tom Westerfield. In respect of the family, Pendleton says he will suspend all advertising efforts until further notice. Pendleton says his thoughts and prayers go out to the Westerfield family during this difficult time.
Tom Westerfield passed awayTuesday afternoon due to a tractor accident that occurred at his north Christian County farm off Greenville Road.
