Roads Extremely Slick and Hazardous

Roads around the Southern Pennyrile are extremely slick and hazardous. Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says not much progress has been made in the overnight.


   

Todd says continued cold temperatures this week will not help road clearing efforts much.


   

Meanwhile, Trigg County Emergency Director David Bryant says county roads remains hazardous and snow-covered.


   

Bryant adds people need to stay home if possible.


   

Cadiz Public Works Director Kerry Fowler said roads are the same in the city.


   

Fowler reiterated the message to stay at home.


   

Christian County Emergency Manager Randy Graham says all county roads are slick and hazardous. He adds be on the lookout for snow drifts that could be covering the roads.



Hopkinsville Police says crews are making progress on Fort Campbell Boulevard and Ninth Street. Main Street and Virginia Street remained snow covered, with all secondary streets slick and snow covered.
