A ribbon cutting will be held Thursday afternoon for the Hopkinsville Transit Dispatch Center. Mayor Carter Hendricks says the Hopkinsville Transit System is one of the success stories of the past fews year that began under the former mayor.
Hendricks says the transit system started January 29, 2014 as he began his term as mayor. Since that time, he adds, they have exceeded expectations.
He notes you know you are successful when people want more.
The mayor says the transit system has been a blessings for many.
The ribbon cutting will be held Thursday afternoon at 4:00 at the Hopkinsville Transit Dispatch, located at 1200 South Clay Street.
