Over 1,500 Pennyrile Electric members in Trigg County will be affected by a planned power outage this weekend.
Pennyrile Electric officials say the interruption electrical service will just after midnight Saturday and will last until about 4:00 Sunday morning.
Officials indicate they will be notifying the 1,512 members affected later this week in the following locations:
– Highway 124 East to 8920 Cerulean Road
– Highway 139 North to 6320 Princeton Road
– Wallonia
– US 68 East from Cadiz to Gracey
– HWEA Pump Station on the Little River, North of Cadiz
Pennyrile Electric officials say they regret this interruption of service, but it is necessary to upgrade equipment within the Cadiz Substation. In case of inclement weather, the interruption will be rescheduled for a later date.
