Online Polls About Proposed Princeton Restaurant T

Residents of Princeton and Caldwell County have another option to express opinions concerning a proposed city restaurant tax.
Princeton Times Leader reporter Stacey Menser says there are two electronic polls concerning the proposed three percent tax that, if approved, will be levied on all food sales in the city limits.

Menser says the results from each poll will be forwarded to Princeton City Council.

Meanwhile she says a Monday night public meeting concerning the restaurant tax proposal, that included comments from Greenville Mayor Jerry De'Armond, was well attended. Princeton City Council is expected to vote on the proposal at an upcoming meeting.
