New President For Austin Peay

Pending approval from the Tennessee Board of Regents, Austin Peay State University has its next President. According to the Leaf Chronicle, Board of Regents Chancellor John Morgan has recommended that Alisa White be selected to be APSU’s next president. White is currently serving as Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Texas at Tyler.
If approved by the Board, White will join Austin Peay on June 30. The Board of Regents is scheduled to vote on the proposal Monday. White will replace Tim Hall, who left Austin Peay to take over as President at Mercy College, in New York.
