Mission Impossible

“Whether it’s someone you know, a friend or a loved one, or a friend of a friend, or a distant stranger, we’ve all been in a bind or have suffered at one point or another. People helping people shouldn’t be a ‘holiday’ gesture, but part of our everyday routine. Care and kindness are free; it’s the ‘little things’ we can share with our friends and neighbors in need that will make a great difference. It’s a ‘heart’ decision; your small sacrifice can make BIG changes in someone’s life!“—Tracy Lawrence

Tracy Lawrence puts those words into action - this year, his "Mission Impossible Turkey Fry" for the homeless cooked over 500 turkeys for the Nashville Rescue Mission who shares the meals with Meals on Wheels and Nashville Cares. His event has supplied more than 6,500 turkeys and over 40,000 meals to the homeless in Nashville since 2006.

Nashville actors, Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio (aka....Scarlett and Gunnar) made their first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry November 17 singing "Fade Into You" and If I Didn't Know Better" from the hit series. The Nashville Soundtrack CD, which will include these songs, will be released December 11th.
