Man Succumbs To Injures Suffered November 10th

Clarksville Police say charges are pending in a fatal accident that occurred last Saturday afternoon on Highway 76.

Police say 66 year old Walter Skowron of Clarksville, who was injured in the accident, died Friday afternoon at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Skowron was reportedly eastbound on his Harley when 19 year old Kayla McClellan of Clarksville, who was westbound, attempted to make a left turn on to Sango Road and failed to yield the right of way to Skowron. Police say his motorcycle collided with McClellan's Toyota Scion.

Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says this is the thirteenth motor vehicle related fatality for the year.
