A man was charged with DUI after a wreck on Fort Campbell Boulevard in the area of Chick-Fil-A Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Federico Rodriguez said 81-year-old Smith Stokes of Hopkinsville was turning into Chick-Fil-A from Fort Campbell Boulevard and pulled into the path of a northbound car on Fort Campbell Boulevard driven by 33-year-old Miranda Choate of Cadiz.
Choate was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for neck injuries. Stokes was taken by police to be checked out at Jennie Stuart Medical Center and found to have broken ribs and sternum.
Stokes was charged with DUI and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
