This Friday and Saturday at the Western Kentucky State Fairgrounds it’s the exciting family-friendly event – the highly anticipated Christian County Cattleman’s Association Lone Star Championship Rodeo.

Rachel Boyd says her family business Lone Star Rodeo – a 600-acre ranch based in Crofton – partners every year with the Christian County Cattleman’s Association to raise thousands of dollars for scholarships for students in the area.

Boyd says the rodeo in Christian County is very special to her because it’s the closest event to home.
