Hopkinsville Police say Lieutenant Jefferson Alexander was one of 267 law enforcement officers to recently graduate from the FBI National Academy Program at Quantico, Virginia. Information Officer Paul Ray says the 251st session, of the National Academy, consisted of men and women from 49 states, 29 international countries, 4 military organizations, 6 federal civilian organizations and the District of Columbia.
Lieutenant Alexander participated in a program internationally known for its academic excellence, that offers ten weeks of advanced investigative, management, and fitness training for selected officers having proven records as professionals within their agencies. The FBI National Academy is a professional course of study for U.S. and international law enforcement leaders that serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and cooperation worldwide.
