Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture James Comer says consumers will see some friendly changes to the Kentucky Proud program. The News Edge was on hand for a forum at the Kentucky Commodity Conference in Bowling Green, where Commissioner Comer discussed how the program will be more user friendly.
Commissioner Comer says the new dropdown feature on the Kentucky Proud website will help consumers locate producers in their area.
Comer also discussed other changes that have taken place in the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, noting that the department has experienced a 25 percent turnover since he took office in 2012.
