Several hundred adults and children came out Saturday to enjoy nature and other activities at the annual Naturefest event held at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center in Hopkinsville.
RC&D Coordinator Charles Turner says they had a great turnout for the annual event.

He notes Naturefest is held on the third Saturday of September each year from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m.
Turner says they also have some events coming up at Jeffers Bend in October and December.

Jeffers Bend Environmental Center is located off of North Main Street on Metcalfe Lane across from the intersection with Glass Avenue.
