Imagination Library Coordinator At HCCPL Announces Resignation

The Imagination Library coordinator at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library has announced she is resigning to take another position.

Library officials say Sarah Hardison, who has been the Imagination Library coordinator since November 2019, has accepted a position as manager of the Bluegrass Cheercats, Inc. in Hopkinsville where she has been a member and coach for several years. During her leadership, officials say participation reached the largest single monthly enrollment ever, for two months in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of Fiscal Year 2019-2020.

Library Executive Director DeeAnna Sova says Hardison’s out-of-the-box fundraising approach to the program will be missed, along with her creativity. Sova adds Hardison’s energy and enthusiasm have been the perfect complement to all the groundwork put in place in the beginning years of the program. She says the relationships Hardison has created on behalf of the Imagination Library will continue to be beneficial for years to come.

The Imagination Library Coordinator position will be posted in the coming days.
