A potential partnership between Jennie Stuart Medical Center and Trigg County Hospital is in the works, according to the latter’s Chief Executive Officer, John Sumner. Sumner spoke briefly with the News Edge on Thursday evening following an executive session of the Trigg Hospital Board of Trustees.
Sumner says he cannot divulge more until discussing the agreement with the hospital’s attorney so as not to be in violation of the agreement. Other board members the News Edge spoke with referred questions to Sumner, who adds more information is forthcoming.
