The Hoptown Hoppers will not officially return to Hopkinsville until this summer, but the Christian County Board of Education is working to make sure they will have a place to play. District Chief Operations Officer, Kathy Hancock presented the school board Thursday night with a letter from the Hoppers leadership.
She says she has talked with the Athletic Directors from Christian County and Hopkinsville High Schools about the team.
Hancock says the letter includes requirements, which Hopkinsville High School's baseball field did not meet last year.
The School Board will vote on the Hopper's contract at its next meeting.
